WATEGO BEACH, NEW SOUTH WALES – Australia, 19/100
Obstacle – Impatient for results
For days, showing up near the beachhead, scanning the sea. Sunrises, sunsets, afternoons of calm, waiting to see promised dolphins…Adventures abound elsewhere so eventually that eager search is let go.
Unanticipated reasons spur an unplanned side journey: a newly planned route where, it turns out, the bridge is out. A random road. Rain pours so pity taken on three hitchhikers. To a certain beach they say or as close as you’re wiling to go. With open eyes and sideways smiles, they admit they might be playing hooky.
All the way there, boys hop out, rain abates, and a decision to trek to the lighthouse.
Waves popping white against green water and dark skies, sheets of rain coming across the South Pacific. Time for snapshots: I am here. Grinning, stillness. New movement in the sea. Fins.
Squealing, they’re here! Rain hits hard, boots pound wet pavement to the car, fumbling with wet keys. Refuge taken in the car with camera. Water streams in the window. Success in sweet, warm moments.
With creativity it can be the same – but different from the stressed out, starving, overworked, gotta push to get there kind.
Get excited. Show up. Do what’s needed. Wait. Wait more. Get bored. Go on, enjoy yourself somewhere else on the path. Play hooky from the push. Ah! There it is. What you want was following its source of food.
Solution – Delight in staying on course
Commenting – It’s never too late to comment on a post.

Waiting is part of the life game, mothers wait for children to be born wait for the first cry, tooth, steps. Waiting for school results, boyfriends, career changes, life changes.
I say don’t wait or anticipate let everything just happen.30/100
