Obstacle – Trying to explain
Context
Sometimes people ask me how I create. More basically, they ask what are you doing? or are you ok? I try to answer these questions when I can, even when it interrupts me, even when I’m grumpy about it, because I believe we each have the capacity to create, and if someone is curious about how I think it is respectful to answer. Or try to anyway, because it is impossible to attach words directly to the experience of creating. It changes for one thing. With this video, for a little while, you can see the way I saw the sea this morning, unedited. I wouldn’t usually show you something in a raw state. You might make something of it, in a way, or see these moments of my life as not a particularly good use of time. Hah! But I was in my skin and happy. And it makes me think and it makes me write and it makes me consider my relationship to concepts like time and nature and light. And, did I mention?, it makes me deeply happy, and a little tired from getting up early to make the effort. So, here’s a glimpse. At about 10 seconds in is when it starts to change.
Solution – Do the work
Commenting – It’s never too late to comment on a post.
